Metaphors in this Dream are Worth Exploring in More DEPTH

03 June 2017

royalpacificThe environment seems to be at a lodge, in a woodsy-type area.

E.N. is there orchestrating things. I’ve prepared a dinner at the last minute because I wasn’t expecting guests. He puts a boiled potato in his mouth and spits it out. Someone else tries the peas and spits them out too. I know that I’ve eaten bad food for so long that I can’t tell anymore what others would say is good or bad and I feel embarrassed.

He finds something else to eat and devours it and so I know for sure he has an appetite and that my food was the issue.

Later, he puts up a big sign and something in the sign really resonates with me. It speaks to coincidences and syncronicity and I attempt to mention it but then someone puts a cloth around my head and jaw and they tell me to “Try Now” and I can’t move a muscle in my face. They convey that this is how it should be now. I understand that I don’t have to talk about everything.

A time later, I am on the deck of a large Olympic-sized swimming pool. At first the pool is empty but then lots of people are given hoses and water starts to fill in. I drop my wallet but figure it’s okay because there’s no water and then I go to another room. Then it dawns on me that water is filling in and my wallet would soon be wet. When I return to the room I expect to see puddles but instead the pool is already half full. I spot my wallet at the far left corner and I start off walking but then dive right in and go right to it. I scoop it up and once back on the deck I look inside. Miraculously, there is only one small part which got wet but the zipper and pockets protected my ID cards and there’s no issue.

I’m feeling so grateful.

Later on, there’s some sort of presentation with E.N. and others. The work he’s doing is really inspiring and I find myself listening attentively.

Randomly, at one point I was in a room and started floating. An elephant walked in the room at the same time and I bumped into it’s large forehead area. I started laughing. It nudged me like a balloon and I let myself float back down to the ground.

Dream: Diving in for my Wallet, Boiled Potatoes, MORE

(In the past, scientists said dreams were just random & meaningless images generated by the brain while sleeping. Now they are changing their story. More and more people are discovering that uncovering unconscious fears through Dreamwork and doing daily work to increase Courage and Confidence can be a powerful tool for success in a profession, a relationship, or a financial endeavor. Writing and sharing dreams opens up a world of previously untapped positive possibilities and potential.)

Animal Dreams: An Elephant & An Alligator

It was a short dream..like a fable. A fiesty and sneaky alligator was sneaking down a street. A wise and smart elephant pretended his truck was an alligator and was walking down the other side of the street. The real alligator was scared of the pretend alligator and froze in his tracks then the elephant zoomed quick like a ninja behind the alligator and jumped on him. Then the elephant pounded the alligators head with his foot fast like martial arts lol. I turned away in the dream because I don’t like violence and from the corner of my eye I saw the alligator died. The road was safe again. Thank you ninja elephant lolol.

Animal Dreams: Elephant & Aligator

In the dream, there was an alligator on one side of a road and an elephant on the other. I was watching the elephant trick the alligator into thinking it’s trunk was another alligator and the alligator was stunned & watching cautiously.

Then, really quickly, the elephant ran across the road and jumped on the alligator with more agility than one would think an alligator could have and it started hitting its foot against the alligator’s head.

I turned my eyes away because I didn’t want to watch the violence but it was clear the alligator was dead.

Aligator is an animal which hides under the surface of the water and then pounces to attack. Some people are like this in real life. They pretend to be harmless and friendly and then pounce when they see an opportunity for their own advancement towards their selfish aims and they don’t care who they hurt in their actions.

Elephant is a strong animal. It is the Eastern equivalent to Bear in its strength.

This dream tells me a good message that I am able to see where in my life someone tried to attack like an alligator but was stopped by a strong opponent.

Since the dream image is using animals instead of humans to give me a metaphor, it means that the elephant’s strength is developing in me but I still have some work to do. That probably has to do with my own fears which as I work through I will be stronger and stronger.

It’s not meant to be about violence.

Simply put, we all have higher and lower natures within us. As we work to understand how our ego or lower/animal nature is trying to take control in our own life than we can strive to develop the positive virtues and characters which will allow us to live with a sense of fulfillment and true achievement. This means living a life of service to others and helping in every way possible for the greater good.

Dreamwork Tip: Use the Positives To Solve the Negatives

Dream: In the dream, I am riding an elephant. It felt amazing!

Interpretation & Solution:

richardonmountainYour dream process is part positive and part negative. When this happens, the dream is first telling you to remember and use all of the positive qualities that exist in the dream and then to solve the other images.   For instance, you have your self riding on an elephant in the jungle.  It reminds you that you have an adventurous spirit that can go to the ends of the earth.

Challenge: A mix of negatives and positives are showing up in dreams or in real life.

Solution: Remember and Use the Positives to Solve the Other Images/Issues

Application:

  1. Remember the Positives and Use them… Having an adventurous spirit  means not getting frustrated or discouraged when things become restricting, confining, or limiting. It means being willing and able to take risks to start new projects, explore new opportunities, to build new relationships. It means being open to growth in all regards.
  2. Solve the other Issues/Images… At the time of this dream, time and money was limited, some relationships were strained, the future was unclear and uncertain in many regards. Wondering about which direction to go was causing anxiety in the dreamer. Negative images of an uncertain and fearful future filled the mind. When the dreamer remembered she had a positive Adventerous Self she was able to consider new and exciting opportunities and options which were positive and helped to eliminate the anxiety.
